Information on CRF:
The Christopher Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
Christopher sought out the organization following his injury in 1995. As Christopher said, "I have always been a crusader for causes I believe in. This time, the cause found me." Christopher shared the American Paralysis Association's belief in a cure and lent his name, passion and drive to the organization which ultimately became known as the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
Christopher Reeve passed away on October 10, 2004. He was only 52 years old. Dana Reeve also passed away of lung cancer at the age of 44 on March 6, 2006. |
